New thought: Was it hovering vertically or just moving very, very slow? Later in the clip we see a plant come blurrily into the frame (5:17 in the video). That looks like it has very high AOA, and thus moving very slow.

It is possible that it was never hovering stationary, rather moving towards Michal very slowly doing a high AOA stunt.
