Dear Team,

I'm happy that this subject brought out and we can speak about it as what we(my girlfriend Gabriela and I) saw was something complately unexpected and new to both of us.

We were climbing to our new spot. A regular fighter jet sound could be heard for at least ten minutes before the actual sighting. I was sure, at the time and I'm still to this day, that the plane was just overflying the range initially, just flying around (at the time it was not inside the restricted range yet) - that's pretty common thing there, it was nothing unusual.

Then after a few more minutes, we reached a higher elevation as we got up from a valley leading to our new spot. The path was smooth so we could gain an altitude in quite quick time. (Overall time to reach our new spot took us just 1h 30mins, roughly, starting off of the Badger Valley Road)

The sound of the jet was still hearable for us but soon I concluded that it's tone begins to increase. I looked around with hope to catch at least a glimpse of the jet and then it is where it all begins interesting...

... As you are scanning a sky overhead you can judge a general direction a sound comes from. I realized the jet is probably on our left, so I took a look. This is when I saw the jet for the first time. Roughly at the same time, it's sound transitted from regular fighter roar to much louder, much SHARPER and distinctive engine tone. It was so prominent change that you wouldn't miss it. Exactly at the same time that the sound changed, I noticed the jet standing STILL in the air. We both were looking at it for at least a several more seconds. My girlfriend noticed that it's hovering as well and she even mentioned that to me at the time (I was happy to have a dual confirmation to what I see myself). As we were looking at it, I already knew that what we see is something unusual so I decided to take out my camera from my bag to take pictures and record video.

Mind you, when you are doing that exact activity (removing camera from it's bag) it's normally a quick action but at that scenerio I felt like it hapenning ages!

Right then, I have it almost ready to shoot a pic. One more thing to do is to take out a cover from that 77mm lens! At that exact moment, the sound of the jet transmitted back from the louder, much sharper and different note to regular jet fighter sound again and it was the same moment that the jet began to move. I switched on my camera to take a pic, BAH, one pic saved, BAH, another shoot. Maybe it is worth to record a video as well? (my internal voice said to me) - and soon I began to follow accelerating jet to record the video of it.

That pictures and scene is what is included in my YouTube video.

I complately get it now why some people just can't record things they see sometimes and thus they have no real evidence to show - you are simply not prepared for action at each circumstances and this is exactly what happened to us. We were full of supplies and things to carry to the top of the new spot and we simply didn't expect anything significant would happen.
Your reaction time is also a factor here - if I would be faster, I would probably take a video or picture when the aircraft was still standing still in the air but I've lost about 10-15 seconds, literally, looking at it.

As the jet left in a cover of bluish sky, I felt amazed and disappointed at once - as I knew I could take a better material - this is one of those rare moments you living for and it's gone. I wish I could take better evidence, maybe next time! I hope so:)
