Agreed, however, I still believe that the jet was hovering and standing still. Overall timespan for all of that, from my first look at it til the time it went away over brushes and small trees, was approximately at least 35-40 seconds, maybe a little more. That sound change was really prominent. I wouldn't say it was on an afterburner at the time I saw it at first glance.

We haven't heard any sonic booms before, during or after the sighting, even during the time the jet was flying in the range and we heard it, there was no boom.
It leads me to believe it was flying with subsonic speeds at the time we saw it.
