There was some medium altitude flying in the Rachel area between maybe 11:30am and 12:30pm. Likely Sabre 1 & 2 from Groom. At the same time there was very strong interference in the 70cm HAM band and in other bands. I don't think I have noticed anything quite like that before. It also affected the 385-400 MHz band to a lesser degree. The interference was constant but with pulses of higher intensity. Then it just disappeared shortly before the Sabres landed. A new radar system? Something aboard the Sabres? Who knows...
