Same company, but "crossing the streams" is not very common. Once you have the tickets to work up range, JT4 wants you to stay there.

Note that due to clearance requirements and remoteness I suspect the Range JT4 guys get paid more than the Edwards/China Lake guys. And the customers at those bases don't want to pay the extra labor costs for a Range guy to moonlight (as it were) at Eddy's/Ridgcrest.
