AFAIK, there was no technology existing in the 90's to make camera impossible to focus on on stealth aircraft. Especially if it is a video and not a still photo.

There was talk though, back then in the 90's, that certain airframe proporties may fluent on ability to "see" the aircraft in mid-air/mid-altitude. It seems it was believed at the time that cameras has limited optics that couldn't spot physical thing on certain circumstances.

Other public internet sources discuss it in enterity with claims that PLASMA used in aiframe body characteristics may fluent to ability to see an aircraft in daylight(or better to say to make it invisible to camera) but I'm far to being certain or know too much on that technology or whether is it even real. It's more like speculation than real hard fact but interesting nonetheless.
