The Rachel Checkpoint is now completely surrounded by Hesco Bastion blast walls. Not sure why they didn’t decide to use L walls that are already deployed at nearby Creech. Regardless, she is quite fortified now against any unlikely scenario where small arm fire is exchanged.
Side note: The barriers are in lieu of K-12 cables to complement the new K-12 vehicle barriers, that essentially create a vehicular cage when inside the sally-port.
