Ty, You're totally right. They've said all of this stuff before on podcasts and such. But yesterday they gave sworn testimony before Congress -- under penalty of perjury.

The Navy pilots' testimony didn't shock me, but the intel officer, for that guy not to back down and to tell them he's ready to name names and give details if they put him in a SCIF, that's a level of commitment that I don't think we've ever seen before in regards to non-human technology.
