Nothing amazing and new here, but it's fun to review this release from Skunk Works celebrating their 80th anniversary.

The X-56 project and it's "flutter barrier" is interesting to me and something I hadn't heard much about. If I'm understand it right, it's allowing for much thinner wings (reducing visibility and signature) and allowing for much longer loiter times. Is that about right?

And my favorite part, of course, is the last sentence: "Of course, there are programs that we can’t share…yet." with the yet italicized in the original.

Sounds just about in line with the water-cooler-talk of a certain departed member of our ranks.
