No one is suggesting that the new tower structure at Groom has anything to do with nuclear testing. It does, however, closely resemble the drilling towers at the Nevada Test Site and it is in close proximity to what appears to be a drill-mud pond.

The structure is located on the east side of Water Tower Road, about 900 feet west of the large dish antenna and about 1,000 feet north of the old water tower.
