It's just my opinion, for whatever that's worth, but I read this article a while back, and I just think it's not believable. If you read the story closely, there are just too many holes in his account of it. Little things, like at one point he describes looking at something through binoculars, but earlier in the story he mentioned that he had left the binocs behind along with other gear when he was trying to lighten his carrying load. A small (though significant) inconsistency, but as I said, there are many such slip-ups in his story - enough so that I just can't take the article seriously.

Again, just my opinion.
