The base certainly checks on the known "hideouts". I've had a night time visit by the security chopper while on Tikaboo. The dudes drive the ET highway and check out cars on the gravel. Nevada cops in these remote areas run the plates of cars parked at motels as a matter of course. The dudes staked me out once just to get my plate. [A long story.]

I'm sure the base has files on regular visitors. I can see a CSI episode where the person of interest says "Hey, I was parked by the front gate at the time of the crime... Just ask the cammo dudes," to which Brass says "No such people exist!"
