I find the whole science of RF/FM radio passive tracking of aircraft quite fascinating. Other members here have shared white papers of this technology being researched for quite some time, decades.

And out of the blue, we have a 99.1 and 99.9 transmitters that are unregistered inside test and training range.

To point to the obvious, this tech has matured to the point that the USAF and DOD are actively testing countermeasures for this technology.

I’m going to oddly spitballing here. But is it possible that “music on”, “music off”. Could be inverse from what it normally means?

Like when Joerg first heard the music on his truck radio. If the jamming worked. The music would be silent if jamming worked from that aircraft?

Not an expert here. Just spit balling. Not thinned skinned just speculating.
