Have any of you experimented with the SDRs available online to listen to aviation transmissions? In years past I've had hardware shortwave receivers and still have a huge old tube Hallicrafters one I inherited from my father-in-law but the SDRs are neat because you can receive from all over the world.

There's one at https://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901 and I'm told that 8992 is the USAF "Emergency Action Message" frequency which might be of interest to those here but 8933 is New York Long Distance Operational Control which is typically used by long distance aircraft for emergencies.

Has anyone used these? There is a big rabbit hole to go down with these since there's lots of other frequencies you can check out and there are SDRs all over the planet.
