I think I remember hearing of this but... people saw it and DIDNT get a video of it? And how did they know it was an "SR72" demonstrator and not something else?

IMO eyewitness accounts are entirely dependant upon who its from: If Peter Merlin or Joerg says they saw something, I trust it. If some random person on twitter says so I'd take it with a mouthful of salt.
