Yes, Glenn famously (or infamously) diverted a pair of test aircraft (callsigns CAMINO 01 and CAMINO 02), preventing them from landing at Groom Lake. This was in the mid 1990s, when tourism got to be such a problem that there were often unauthorized observers on Freedom Ridge 24 hours a day for days at a time. No sight-sensitive test article could be exposed on the ground or in flight when Condition Watchdog was in effect. It was costing the government (and, therefore, the taxpayer) millions of dollars due to program delays ad an idled workforce. That's what drove the seizure of both Freedom Ridge and Whitesides to eliminate the closest viewpoints.
