I might be late with this one, or had been discussed earlier, but feel free to discuss this topic.

I was merely thinking of the NTR, Area 51 and 'sister sites' to have moved underground with a decades-long tunnel boreing operation, especially since the A-12 Oxcart programs detection of Soviet infra-red spy satellites began flying overhead and began to sychronize their timetables to the orbits of said espionage.


I will leave also a link regarding the underground Cuban tunnels and we can also speculate about that and what else they have hidden, because either:

They probably still have clandestinely kept nuclear weapons underground, or, perhaps, a cover operation to confuse defense analysts, etc.
