The basic story (F-117s supposedly used in Syria) is the same, but I don't think "Scramble" (Dutch aviation group whose publication I once subscribed to) was the source for the story I read. I think part of the claim involved F-117s having been seen by the crew of a merchant ship in the Middle East. The IFE and subsequent landing bit rings a bell as well.
