The only way to get a sharper, more energetic thermal haze is from a direct source. The entire wing is active.
The initial photo was bothering me somewhat, especially the wingtip. Threw it all through the software and it smacked me in the face: You cannot ever have a tighter band of haze the further you move away from a heat source: It is always and forever widening (expansion)
