The F-35 tech is amazing. The 'Joint' airframe and STOVL concept is pitiful. Always was, is, and will be (and now they are struggling to get cooling because of this very shortcoming). I stress that the technology is crazy amazing, but th esmall dimensions and tri /quad service one size fits all was, is and always be an unmitigated disaster as nobody got what they needed or wanted.
As for when NGAD will be revealed? Not until they are ready to start rolling her round the more remote parts of TTR. Even then it will be tightly policed.
