OT: Testing site in California

So several years ago I was looking at random places on Google Earth and seem to remember coming across a place in Southern California that looked like it was a secret testing site, possibly for helicopters. If I remember correctly, it was somewhere east of Orange County. I've tried looking for it since then, but I cannot seem to find anything like that in that area. I dont think it was a military site, but maybe a site that is owned by one of the companies like Bell or similar.

So does anyone know what site I might be thinking of?
