Welcome, and no need to apologize. If it involves a potential Black Projects mission this is the place. Matt M mentioned in another thread that exercise Northern Edge in Alaska just ended. May be related. I am not familiar with that, but perhaps Matt can fill us in. It has been a while, but N805X and its companion N804X were here in the NTTR on a mission a couple of years ago. Callsign SCAN04 and SCAN05. They are both radar test beds and I believe they were participating in Black Flag, basically a Red Flag exercise for Black projects. Looks like SCAN05 was at Elmendorf AFB from 5/3 until 5/13. The attached link tracks it. Use the History tab to navigate in time. I hear there is quite a bit of hush hush stuff going on up there in Alaska, but have no details. Perhaps someone else can fill us in.
