I apologize in advance for the off topic post.

For the last several weeks we had a couple of aircraft owned by Northrop-Grumman making some interesting flights out of Elmendorf and Eielson.

These were two CRJ-700s, also accompanied by two Rockwell/North American Saberliners.

One CRJ was N805X, which appears to be a testbed aircraft for fighter nosecones and possibly radars, at least according to Wikipedia.

The other CRJ was N806X.

Unfortunately I didn't get the registrations of the Saberliners.

The reason I'm posting this is that I've never seen aircraft like this up here in Alaska. I typically see these on ADS-B sites flying out of Edwards or Creech, or Palmdale, etc.

I'm just curious if anyone might have any idea about what they might be doing.

As a side note, this did coincide with the VC-32 flight for the first Lady, landing at Elmendorf.

It also coincided with some kind of non-publicized exercise which involved many F-22s as well as E-3, RC-135V, and EC-130H.
