There is a new book titled "Dreamland: The Secret History of Area 51" that will come out later this year from Schiffer Publishing, and one of the users on this forum happens to be the author of this book. From what I've seen online, the price for this item is pretty hefty partly due to this book being 640 pages long, but since this book contains previously unpublished image and relies on previously declassified documents to update knowledge of activities at Area 51 past and present, I wanted to ask the following questions about this book:
1. Is there any in-depth discussion of the myth of the "Aurora" spyplane, given that we know that the USAF never had an operational Mach 6 replacement for the SR-71 in the 1990s and Ben Rich clarified that Aurora was the Pentagon codename for funding procurement of the B-2?
2. Does this book mention the QUARTZ/AARS program for a long-range reconnaissance UAV to replace the SR-71 Blackbird, but also the YF-113G?
3. Is mention made of the alleged "Blackstar" TSTO spaceplane and "Black Manta" tactical reconnaissance flying wing, but also the possibility that reputed sightings of the "Black Manta" could have been of technology demonstrators for Boeing and Lockheed design studies for the QUARTZ program?
