Yeah, I've heard those plasma projection rumors, but wouldn't the projected image have to look like a target such as a specific tank or aircraft? The objects Fravor and company reported were simultaneously seen visually, picked up on both airborne and ship borne radar, and on the F-18's IR pod. The ability to project/spoof forces in all three mediums at the same time would be a force multiplier of epic proportions.
