I would walk the road in from the Hwy first to see the conditions first hand. There might be someone camping with a couple vehicles and that could create a traffic jam in the desert. I've noticed the sand is looser at times and firmer other times. There is a second site just past the first one. I've only tent camped there. Those T@B 320S Boondock are really sweet rigs!!
