No booms yet up here in NorCal, but we do have the rich folks in the hills complaining about all the noise of F-5s operating out of Moffett Field (NASA Ames).

That runway dumps right onto the south end of San Francisco Bay and used to host P-3 squadrons for the Navy back 25 years or so ago. I'm not sure why they're not routing the jets out over the water, but instead turning them around to fly over the wealthy hill towns of Silicon Valley.

Granted, I'm also not sure why anyone would complain about the sound of freedom.
