Aircraft carriers have a recovery crane on standby at all times during flight operations for this exact reason; to move a disabled aircraft out of the way. I would be very, very surprised if Groom Lake did not have the same capability for the simple reason of keeping things out of sight. They've been at this game a long time, and there's no way they haven't thought of it.
