Most employees at Area 51 use the Janets. Those from the Alamo/Hiko area take the white bus. A few commute in their private vehicles.

Most Janet passengers commute daily. Some stay on base all week if needed for job duties. I understand there is also a financial incentive for staying on base during the week.

Currently the 737 Janets only fly between Vegas, Groom and TTR. There used to be flights to Palmdale/Edwards, but that route is serviced by the Beeech 1900 and 200. Company owned jets of the civilian contractors sometimes fly into TTR. Very infrequently into Area 51 as the approach requires some practice.
