In the new set of photos of the Skunk Works, there appear to be a complete set of aircraft carrier deck markings on the ramp just east of the main building. You can clearly see the landing area, foul lines, and JBD areas. These markings were not there on the 2017 Google Earth image, indicating something recent. I would assume it is related to the F-35C, but any idea why Skunk Works would need a full-scale layout of a flight deck? And if it is for the F-35C, why would they need it now, after the aircraft has been delivered?
