Air Force bases do, indeed, have bars. There is typically a common facility like Sam's Place that is run by the Services Squadron, which used to be called Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR). Individual organizations often have their own in-house bar. During the Oxcart project, the Roadrunners had House 6. In later years you had others such as the Bonehead Bar (House 79), Red Hats, etc. I have found this sort of set up to be common on other bases, too.

I have heard of the "classified museum" from several sources including a former command staff member from Groom. A number of test articles were saved to show to cleared VIP visitors. That is where TACIT BLUE was housed while awaiting final disposition. Fortunately, it ended up in the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force rather than being chucked in a hole and buried. Hopefully, Other items will one day be similarly preserved.

The Groom Lake facility continues to serve as a test site for manned and unmanned aircraft, and foreign materiel evaluation. Surely, some of the older programs are due to be declassified.
