There is a chance that land lines will still work if the phone company takes the right steps here in Rachel and also in Alamo. Given their track record I would not count on that though.

For our own protection I cannot comment on our plans to deal with the invasion. I hope you will understand.

I would expect law enforcement to set up one or more mobile trunking sites. Not sure if they will be encrypted.
