That's a good point. I wonder how much light pollution a prision would bring -- it's hard to find dark skys in the US. The closest I've seen to that here in the US, is in the desert outside of Vegas (and, interestingly, also just about an hour north of Las Vegas New Mexico too). Joe
I'm just back from Mongolia and the total solar eclipse there. As beautiful as that was, the sky at night was even moreso -- no light pollution, no air pollution, low humidity and a fairly high altitude made the milky way seem almost close enough to touch.
