I agree, I have the same experience. We were always told in advance when someone was coming in and we were always told what we could and could not say. The area always had to be prepped for visitors. I remember on several occassions we were not allowed to admit that a particular project exsisted and were to deny it if asked directly. The ability to do this was in our non-disclosure aggreements. Since it is obvious that Groom Lake has extremely high security I can only assume that they have taken need to know access to the highest levels possible. As an after note, if someone sees something that they are not supposed to see it gets reported and then there is a security proceedures review, a lot of form filling, and alot of debrief grief. If this happens enough you lose your clearances or worse have you to go work for Raytheon (inside joke). Now days that joke would be BAE.
