We all remember Will Roper, former Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics who spear headed the initiative to update the U-2′s software during a flight among other projects.

With a resume that is nothing short of impressive, it seems he is now in the private sector as CEO (@Istari) working on "digital engineering ecosystems". I'd be shocked if Dr. Roper doesn't play a huge, but silent role, in the cost-saving and fast track development of classified systems and projects to come.
