Red Flag 22-3: 07/09/2022 - 07/29/2022

Red Flag 22-3 will bring about 75 aircraft and 2,300 participants from various United State military branches to Nellis AFB. A release from Nellis AFB says that the Red Flag will emphasize "joint-force integration." Per Nellis, aircraft include F-35A/C, F-22, B-1B, E-3, E-8, EA-18G, F-15E, HC-130, KC-135, RC-135, HH-60, and MQ-9.

Red Flag 15-1: 01/26/2015 - 02/13/2015

In addition to U.S. aircraft, the Royal Australian Air Force, flying C-130Js, and the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom, flying Typhoons, F-15C's, E-3D's, Sentinels and a CRC will participate in Red Flag 15-1.
The Australian C-130J-30s are from 37SQN, 84QG based at Richmond AFB near Sydney. Australia is also sending an AP-3C Orion from 92WG based at Edinburgh AFB near Adelaide. The deployment is likely being supported by an RAAF C-17 from 36SQN, 84WG at RAAF Amberley near Brisbane, and a KC-30 (SA330 MRTT) from 33SQN, 84WG also based at Amberley.


Red Flag 14-3: 07/14/2014 - 07/25/2014

In addition to U.S. aircraft, the French air force will be here flying C-130s and C-160s, the Singaporean air force will be here flying F-16Cs, F-15SGs and CH-47s.

More than 90 aircraft are scheduled to depart Nellis twice a day, around noon and again around 6 p.m. Aircraft may remain in the air for up to four hours.

The exercise will include units from:
Nevada, Colorado, South Dakota, Louisiana, Utah, California, Republic of Korea, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Massachusetts and Oklahoma flying aircraft including the F-15 Eagle, F-16 Fighting Falcon, E-3 Sentry, B-1 Lancer, and KC-135 Stratotanker.

In addition to U.S. aircraft, the Saudi Royal Air Force and the Republic of Korea will participate with their nation's F-15 aircraft.

Red Flag 11-3: 02/21/2011 - 03/11/2011

For the first two weeks, more than 80 aircraft are scheduled to depart Nellis twice a day, with early launches around 11 a.m. and late launches around 7 p.m. During the third week, early launches change to 2 p.m. and late launches begin around 9:30 p.m. Aircraft may remain in the air for up to four hours.

Aircraft involved include F-15s, F-16s, E-3s, E-8s, A-10s, B-2s, C-130s and KC-135s, from Nevada, Missouri, Georgia, New Mexico, Missouri, Nebraska, Texas, South Carolina and Washington. In addition to U.S. aircraft, the U.K. Royal Air Force will participate with GR4 Tornados and the Royal Australian Air Force will participate with their C-130s.

Red Flag 11-3 will mark the official transition to a three-week exercise. It will also undergo several changes to include cyberspace as a new domain in execution of Red Flag.


Red Flag 11-2: 01/24/2011 - 02/04/2011

The exercise will include U.S. forces aircraft from Nevada, Florida, South Dakota, Louisiana, Missouri, Germany, Arizona, Minnesota, Belgium, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma and Kansas flying F-15s, F-16s, E-3s, A-10s, B-1s, B-52s, C-130s and KC-135s. In addition to U.S. aircraft, the United Arab Emirates Air Force will take part with the F-16E.
