Hi all,

Dutch media (satirical blog mostly) reported about a USAF commercial showing a plane that is not very known to me (and to them) at the 0:21 mark. Link to a still below. The article in Dutch here:

Translated (automated) :

Is this the last manned air superiority fighter the US will ever build?

What is immediately noticeable is that unlike the two images used during Trump's presentation, the model above and below do not have any nose fins. And contrary to expectations, the model does have two tail fins, which the Chinese counterpart does not have, for example. So, the speculation goes: either this is not a Boeing F-47 but another demonstration model, or it is a Boeing F-47, but a (slightly) different version than the one in the two images during Trump's presentation.

It could also be Lockheed's upcoming replacement for the aircraft carrier fighter jet, the F-18 Super Hornet, but that would be strange, because this is an advertisement for the Air Force, not the Navy. Either way, it's a nice thing. Full commercial after the break, in which something else remarkable and new can also be seen for a moment: an F-22 flanked by two Boeing MQ-28 Loyal Wingman jet engine drones.
