They did. The full and honest answer is likely classified but also very much of this earth. People will angrily reject and dismiss any answer offered to them that isn't "It's aliens" because they're either emotionally invested in it being aliens or because they're bored and their brains have been broken by social media. We had law enforcement and elected officials here in NJ who should know better demanding whatever was up there, without knowing what it was, be shot down over residential neighborhoods. Absolutely insane mass hysteria stuff.
