That's not entirely accurate. It would cost too much to repro coins, and really not worth it. There are coins where some designs...there are what is called 2 orders or rund. One without a serial, one with. And then there are company orders where the company that designed, ordered the coin, orders extra for quality control. Every company has x amount of extra. That's just how they do it. There are imperfect coins that when made overseas, weren't quit perfect, so people that woek in the industry throw online, or trade with alot of others in the company trade. It is a form of numismatic. They do hold alot of value due to popularity subject matter...also hype. Also...there is some stuff your lucky to find, if you can find it, but may not see it for a number of years. There is a command coin I got recently that I last saw over a decade ago when I owned it. I paid almost double what I got this one for.
