For those who are unaware, meshtastic is a type of long range radio that uses your phone as a way to send texts over long distances without the need of a cell network. Meshtastic is comprised of "nodes", which are the radios themselves that bounce your message around to different nodes, in effect acting like it's own cell network. You are able to see different nodes that your own node has "talked" to, and I was scrolling through the different nodes for today and came across one that is directly on Badger Mountain. Now people are able to set how precise their node location is shown to other nodes,but even then the relative location of a node can only be generalized to a certain distance. The node in question is named "HQ (Capt. Price) TF141". I am wondering if possibly some law enforcement agency or something might be responsible for it? Who knows, it is most likely just a hiker or something, but reguardless, it's very strange. If anyone has experience with meshtastic on this forum I would encourage you to see if you could find this node on your app. For anonymity reasons, I will not be replying to any questions or comments on this post.
