I doubt they are actual hangars. Look at images at Nellis and other desert bases. They are most likely just overhead sun shelters (robust enough to withstand desert winds), needed to provide the modern avionics and the MX crews some needed shade. They're standard Block 30 jets used for chase and pilot proficiency...and the occasional mission support with pods...
