Or could this be a smokescreen for something secret going on there? Even the article says that some of the reports pointing to consumer drones are from areas not anywhere near Palmdale. As usual the media lumps it all together and it would not be the first time that this muddies the waters and conceals something highly interesting going on. Spotters in the area, keep your eyes and electronic ears open.
