The Air Force is well aware of the potential dangers posed by commercial off-the-shelf small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS). The chief concern is that sUAS might be employed by enemy combatants to do harm but (at least within our borders) they are increasingly flown by yahoos trying to create TikTok or Youtube content. Over the past decade, the Air Force has tested a variety of counter-sUAS systems. Some are exactly as sophisticated as you might expect while others are almost laughably basic (one method would not seem out of place in a Roadrunner and Coyote cartoon). I'm not sure whether any of these systems have yet been deployed.
