Just go online and you'll find declassified photos of Soviet territory by the U-2. As a matter of fact, aerial photos taken by the U-2 over the USSR dropped hints that the VVS had far fewer M-4 jet bombers in service than US Air Force intelligence officials had suggested and that the R-7 Semyorka ICBM was a long way off from full-fledged operational use as an ICBM despite Curtis LeMay's opinion that the Soviets were hiding production R-7s in areas of the USSR not photographed by the U-2.
