Because it used a US-based internet provider? I'm guessing Starlink, Hughes, or some other satellite provider or a cellular service. Either would look like innocuous traffic. It's not as if they could drag a cord from China or use something else that might draw signals intelligence.

Because it had "Western parts" with English writing? They bought off the shelf or they bought from their own manufacturers which routinely supply parts to the West.
