Back in the 2000s, Boeing would rent the Edwards complex for development of pilot procedures for things like engine out on takeoff, high speed aborts, brake tests, etc. 777 and 767-ER. When you see the wheels catch fire, and its on purpose, it is pretty interesting. Just another day at KEDW, I suppose. Boeing would always cough up flair too. Pens, hats, pins, stickers etc.
