Good post. Speculative but good. It was said in some of the other posts from prop production that the joystick was taken from the prototype that made only two flights. Apparently suggesting it was taken from real bird that flew, apparently two times only. Now if you look at the joystick itself it reminds older projects, from a few decades back so maybe they took some real components and filled them with some fantasy to it creating something that might look or reminds indeed project that really existed at some point in the past.
