Check out my 2010 trip report. I camped out on Tikaboo with two of my kids before the "weather" station. We had great weather and were right on top. High winds can occasionally make that extremely difficult. It was fun to watch during the night and when ever we woke up to peer out through the tent mesh at the base. Good times.
