I think you will find that they are not hangars but shelters. Just a roof held up by supports. No sides or doors. These are used at a lot of bases to provide cover from the sun and rain so that maintenance can be undertaken without exposing personnel or open panels and cockpits to the weather. It's amazing how much more pleasant it is to work on aircraft in summertime under one of these shelters. A bit of shade and a clear breezeway makes all the difference.
