While, as a plane nerd and black projects fan, I really hope that this guy accidentally or miraculously caught a broadcast from the "Aurora" sneaking out of Boscomb Down on consumer FM frequencies, the realist in me says it's much more likely that somebody was in a holding pattern over Machrihanish Air Base in Scotland or holding to transit into the Machynlleth Loop in Wales... Both of which could have a "Mach 6.1" waypoint or transition. ... But wouldn't it be great if I were wrong and when Lockheed finally gets to declassify this fast mover we've been hearing whispers about we find out that the RAF has been flying it all along. :-)
